Leading the charts and the hearts with the album titled “The Ode”, conveying a strong message of unity within the song as well as throughout the album in entirety. The word “Ode” by definition is a poem that is meant to be sung, which is perfectly displayed in every line and with having the ability to create such a rhythm and groove that makes you feel like it was specifically created for you.
If you’re looking for a great upbeat, dancing tune, well look no further!
Horseshoes & Hand Grenades are already creditably known for their finger thumpin’, foot tappin’ tunes, but I highly recommend “playing The Ode, my friend play it in your head, until the end of time, end of yours and the end of mine” as the actual lyrics repeats throughout the song, on its way to becoming a classic sing along for generations.
Keeping the poetry radiating with songs like “Stay Awhile”, as it purely uplifts and encourages despite what may happen within a relationship of any kind. In lines like “Let’s get there together, give each other what we lack, I’ll be the soil in your garden” insinuating throughout the song that even though a relationship may end, a true genuine love will always remain. As they consciously maintain and embrace one another by focusing on strengths, it only amplifies their creative, unparalleled sound to climb, grow, and triumph, with the beautiful sounds of a jazzy, pop folk, bluesy energy and much more, not to mention the guiding light their voices provide. It’s not hard to tell that this isn't their first rodeo.
Now on their 4th album release, these modern day cowboys (as they like to refer to themselves) keep us on our toes by incorporating all of their individual talents and interests that makes it impossible to turn a deaf ear to. I’d say the world is in for a treat as they continue to tour the world, leaving little pieces of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades.
